Roots of the Mountain or Wolverine Stance?

Which of these stances would you take for your Warblade?

Wolverine Stance all the way--yeah, you have to call people "Bub" all the time when you're using it, but sooner or later, you'll get grabbed. Even if the DM doesn't make a habit of grappling, so many of the creatures can Improved Grab or Snatch that it is going to happen sooner or later.

Perhaps.

The swift action manuevers are important, no doubt....but given the selection we have here, your arguement cuts equally for both the stances under consideration.

Roots of the Mountain is a better stance because it will be useful more often, and you don't have to fail a grapple check in order to use it! :D

Well, my arguement cuts slightly more agains the Roots of the Mountain... But that said, I do agree with you that it's a better stance, just not for the "just re-root yourself after you move" reason.

I'm also kind of a fan of Roots w/Leading the Charge. Run in, smack someone hard, Root yourself in place. Fun times.

That was my thought too.

Please hide this thread from my Warblade player. I'd like to successfully use Improved Grab on his PC. :D :p
