I suspected as much, but I know there's a picture of a sylph and that would do in a pinch, right?Hehe I noticed that one too.
But upon further investigation, it seems to be because there was no picture in the 1e MM... I guess they were afraid we'd go blind... or die.

There are monsters that do that too.Actually, the 4e rot grub zombie sounds more like something I came up with for a d20 Modern game, the spiderhusk zombie, which on any slashing damage would fall apart, disgorging a slew of venemous giant spiders.
