(ROTK, Spoiler Caution) The Battle of Gondor: Can Peter Jackson capture it?

REmember that for all it seems like Helm's Deep is an incredibly long battle, it only takes 45 minutes when intercut with many other elements (Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin, to be precise). It probably has about 20 minutes of dedicated filming. I think PJ has teh time to do it justice - and I've also heard the rumors that RoTK will be a little longer than FoTR and TTT. If I were a betting man, I'd wager it'll come in at 3.5 to 3.75 hours.

I think Helm's Deep was successful enough that I can trust Peter Jackson to give the Pelannor Fields the attention it deserves! In his FotR DVD audio commentary, Peter noted that Helm's Deep was pretty much a mere warmup compared to the mass battles in the third film. At least, that seemed pretty clear to me.
