Round 2 is OVER

I vote to immediately remove from the list ALL the damn +2 to two skills feats - they suck and they are prolonging us getting to the winner.

Actually, despite my earlier vote for Brew Potion I agree with this.

I gotta agree with mr_outsidevoice on this. It should be either:

a) Make it a trick,
b) Make it work in a manner similar to crush (affecting creatures 1 size category smaller),
c) Make it a feature of a large quadrapeds (or monsters).

I'm really surprised by some of the feats mentioned, particularly Run and Combat Reflexes. Keep your Dex bonus while running? That is very win amongst my players. As for the opportunity to gain multiple AoO per round if they have a high Dex? Double win!

*Edit: Lasher Dragon is totally right, but out of petulance I'm keeping my original vote ;)

To me, even better than the multiple AoO per round is the fact that you CANNOT make AoO's while flatfooted without Combat Reflexes. The example I gave in the other thread is that people must like the swarms of enemies to rush past the big fighter types and surround the sissy mage types. I know I would do that if I were the DM and the monsters had a decent INT score. :]

Edit: Oops I just read the rules (yeah a little late) and so far I've broken at least 3. Sorry :heh:

All +2/+2 feats... Or Diligent...

I vote for all of the +2/+2 feats. They're an insult to skill monkeys, in much the same way forcing a character to take Dodge is an insult, but even worse.

Diligent if I have to pick one.

I would feel offended if Combat Reflexes and Run get booted before we clear out all these crapfests in miniature. I still get mildy annoyed when I think that 90% of the "new feats" in the 3.5 PHB were these useless things.

IMPROVED COUNTERSPELL [GENERAL]

counterspelling is worthless, and taking a feat to do it only slightly better just doesn't cut it
Not if you have Reactive Counterspell and Mastery of Counterspelling. Then it becomes a deadly and effective tactic in mageduels ;)

I vote for Simple Weapon Proficiency:

If you want to have a weapon as someone who doesn't have simple, just take an Exotic. The simple weapons you don't know aren't good enough to warrant the feat.

Definitely SIMPLE WEAPONS PROFICIENCY. Definitely. It's really a class feature, not a feat. Most classes are proficient with all simple weapons, and if one wasn't, why would they go simple over, say martial? Or exotic? It's a waste of a feat.

Demiurge out.

Simple Weapon Proficiency. I thought every class has this. Why it make it a separate feat?

Lets not vote out Combat Reflexes. High Dex + Combat Reflexes + spiked chain is really nice. Some smart mobs might avoid an AoO immediately around a character, but the reach of the chain really makes it hard to avoid AoO unless the mobs give you a REALLY wide berth and if they do, that's a pretty nice crowd-control benefit.
