Run

It isn't core, but Dash increases your running speed by almost as much (it is as much if you have 20 ft. speed). And it increases your speed when you aren't running. And it's a decent feat at best.

The armor and shield profs should follow, along with leadership.

What's the big problem with Leadership? Every player in my current game has that feat, and it makes the game more interesting. It never says that Leadership is the only way to get followers, it just presents a simple mechanic to allow it. And it has a Special comment that says to check with the DM about the feat before taking it, in case the DM doesn't want to allow that sort of thing. What more could you ask of it?

That it not exist, and that sort of thing be left totally to roleplaying that not only doesn't cost a feat, it doesn't cost a thing. It's just an out-of-place feat that resembles nothing else in the core rules and that many games don't even use. If you can get followers without a feat, what's the point of the feat? It also helps out low-charisma types, something the D&D world does not need.

It's gotta be RAPID RELOAD [GENERAL] for me.

If for some reason you have a BAB of 6 or higher, but can't use a long bow, you are almost always much better off with Martial Weapon Long bow than with Rapid Reload.

Edit: Me no spell good

Except it resembles wizards and sorcerers' familiars as well as druids and rangers' animal companions -- in metagame terms, it gives a player another 'actor' to control. And it helps out low-charisma *players*, which is something the D&D world *does* need.

Plus, it has historical precedence in older editions.

Tower Shield Proficiency [general]

TOWER SHIELD PROFICIENCY [GENERAL]

The tower shield has its own disadvantages, and then you have to waste a feat to boot? No, thanks.

Rapid Reload? Really? I killed an entire 3rd-level party with 8 1st-level warrior goblins armed with heavy crossbows and Rapid Reload...

NATURAL SPELL

I'm going the other way, and voting off the feat I think is most wrong. Hey, if you want to be a dire bear, give up the spell casting for a few rounds!

Oh Come on!!

This goes way too far. Counterspells are the heart and soul of playing NPCs and foes intelligently during combat. Ditto for PCs. Counterspells frequently are the difference between life and death and are one of the few things to restrain Wizards from being an uber_force.

Just because you don't use a central part of the magic system, doesn't mean the feat should get tossed!

Improved Counterspell allows you to burn off any spell in the same school of magic that is at least one level higher than the spell you are attempting to counter.

Without it, you need to have the identical spell memorized or its counter.

Without Improved Counterspell, counters are very difficult; with the feat, your tactical options in battle are flexible and increase vastly.

It is a central part of the magic system of 3.5E D&D. It's one of the CHANGES from 3 to 3.5 that made a difference.

yep, and i will vote for improved CS anyway. Throw it away
