ROUND VI - Early Tips

Hi Everyone,
With 2 votes each Round V we really started to remove the chaff - 9 Feats were eliminated! This round we are back to 1 vote each (nice and bold at the top, please) but to keep things fun while we push through the middle rounds, this round I would like you to tip the feat you think will win (or alternatively the feat you want to win). Plop it at the bottom of the post. :)

THE RULES

1) Each round will only last a day or two, so make sure you get your votes in!
2) Only one vote per person. One FEAT only - and no multiple persona's please
3) In the first few rounds I will eliminate more than one loser- this will help us get to the nitty gritty.
4) Make it obvious which Feat you are voting for, in bold, at the top of your post. Write what you like in defence of your choice, or about how your favourite was eliminated, but make it easy for me to collate results!
5) Once a new round has started - let the previous thread die. (I might even ask the moderators to lock it)
6) I've only chosen the Basic Feats from the 3.5 SRD - the 3.5 version of the feat is the one you should be basing your eviction on
7) You can't change your vote within a round.

IMPROVED BULL RUSH
I don’t care how good you are at it, rushing bulls is a bad idea.

My tip to win: Cleave

Mobility

If Combat Ref is bad, this is worse for the same reason. How often do you provoke an AoO? In many games and situations, you don't. Moving around the enemmies, attacking from range, or just whacking whoever's handy works 95% of the time. Not to mention that if you must move past an enemy, you can just use Tumble, which is a skill with that and other uses (not for everyone, but many high-dex types who would take Mobility have it). Mobility is worthless (except as a prereq, but two wothless prereq's for one situationally useful feat is also just worthless).

I also pick Power Attack to win. It is great for all melee types and leads to other things and gets better at high level. If not that, then Improved Init, which is inoffensive to all, if not too powerful.

I disagree. Mobility is nice. It lets you get away with stuff you might not try otherwise, and even if you have tumble, you can still fail. Plus, you can use it to suck up AoOs that might be used against your comrades.

All monk sh*t has got to go! In a statement that would be sure to draw AoOs, I'll would say that MONK has got to go too. However, that comment is for another Survivor thread (Next up, Class or PrC Survivor?). So pretend I never said it.

These aren't the druids you're looking for. Move along.
