Round Vi Is Over

Ok one more time I'm going to vote for improved unarmed strike. I'm sure it will get voted out sometime.

As for which feat will win, I'll have to go for power attack. Its a feat that almost any fighter type should be able to qualify for, and its has use at pretty much any level as opponents with low armor classes compared to thier CR occur at all levels. It also is a requirment to take cleave which unlike great cleave is a really useful feat.

Stunning Fist. Monk abilities belong in the Monk class. I think Power Attack will win, though Natural Spell and Craft Wondrous shoud last for awhile too.

I vote for Brew Potion to be eliminated. Wasting party XP, taking up character time, and using a feat to boot are all bad.

Nod for the win: Two-Weapon Fighting. I've seen more two weapon "fighters" (mostly Rangers and Rogues with tons of sneak attack bonus damage) than any other feat.

still don't like metamagic

Empower Spell

Because it's one of the metamagic feats I haven't yet voted against. At the rate I'm going, I predict I'll cast at least one unsuccessful vote against each of them before they start disappearing. But when the list gets whittled down, and it finally becomes time for metamagic to disappear, I'll feel like a trendsetter.

To win: Weapon Focus. The other popular combat feats are taken by fighters who decide to specialize in their respective feat chains. But most fighters, whatever feat chain they make their own, at some point will take Weapon Focus in their favourite weapon.

Speaking of feats which should be class abilities (and I agree on stunning Fist, but I want to put this one on the chopping block):

WEAPON SPECIALIZATION

My bet to survive all?

AUGMENT SUMMONING

Gotta say though, I'm a lousy gambler...

Counterpoint, Mokona: In order for a two-handed-weapon fighter to be effective, he needs to take Power Attack. In order for a two-weapon fighter to be effective, he needs a slew of TWF-based feats, and probabaly Weapon Focus/Spec as well, while the 2handed guy is free to focus on other useful stuff, since he has his massive damage covered with just a simple Power Attack.

It looks like stunning fist will get booted without my help sooooo I pick:

Extra Turning

I think the winner should be Quickdraw not because it is the most usefull or powerful but because it is the perfect example of a balanced, useful, well used, and strategic feat. =my$.02

Of course, Quicken Spell is the most powerful feat of the bunch, but Improved Initiative is probably the best, followed closely by the saving throw feats. Of course, there will always be irrational people who do things like vote off metamagic just for being metamagic or vote off the save feats for "only giivng +2" so I have no clue what will actually stay...

Enlarge Spell.

I don't hate metamagic like others do, but this one is just plain lame. Has anyone ever taken it?

My pick to win: Power Attack.

Power Attack is both high on the power scale, and a feat that makes sense to exist.
