Round Vi Is Over

Like Leadership, there are feats in the DMG as well, generally those that 'require' DM approval first. Improved Familiar is one of those. It's in the SRD, if you want to look it up.

Leadership is also listed in the PHB - it is just that the more detailed rules are listed in the DMG. You are correct, though, that improved familar can be found in the DMG.

Hardly! My Ranger took it, at third level. This, with a good STR & BAB, and a strongbow work really well alongside TWF. Even "disarmed", he is a threat... 4-6 HP from 3+ attacks/round? Always threatens squares within 5'? The ability to do normal blunt or non-lethal damage (and, if a Rogue, the ability to do non-lethal Sneak Attack damage, too!)

Hardly a Feat for "Monks, only"! Add in Weapon Finesse and a high DEX, and it gets even worse! (You can't take all unarmed strikes away, without Trap the Soul!)

Apart from the non-lethal part, why not just simply go for spiked gauntlets? Saves you a feat, and you have the martial weapon proficiency already?

I believe that's already been addressed...

You can't disarm a Spiked Gauntlet, so my question stands.

Edit: Ah, unless you're talking about waking up in the middle of the night and not wanting to sleep with your gauntlets on. Hardly a common occurance to be found without your weapons...

Improved Sunder
Just seems like a way for the PCs to destroy treasure for the GM. :p

My early tip: Natural Spell
I think it should win, because, like LightPhoenix said, it is about the best option a druid can take. That said, I expect Power Attack to win, having seen it be the death of so many foes.

Craft Rod

To Win? it looks like it will be a landslide for PA - and I admit it is fun but of 4 archtypes only Warriors and Priests can use it. and monsters, a must for any dragon.
Weapon focus is good for everyone but the Pure Arcanist. Its just not sexy.
Improved Intiative gives you a chance at an extra round of actions, most useful for thieves and casters - It may be the mostly widely seful feat.

HEIGHTEN SPELL [METAMAGIC]

Because this should be inherent in the spellcasting system.

And the winner is POWER ATTACK [GENERAL]

Because every respectable melee character has it, and melee is such an integral part of D&D

combat reflexes although I seem to be alone in my dislike of this feat.

Yes, you are :p

I guess you must witness a chain-wielding fighter that stands in the middle of a circle full of enemies lying on their faces, their weapons out of reach, their pretty uniforms all muddy. :]

Eschew Materials - I don't mind being alone on this one. ; )

To win: Combat Expertise. I like that they limited it to +5.

They should have done that with the popular favorite... /grumble
