Hey Deadlar. Ya that was one of the first things I tried. Usually my router can get backed up or clogged and it gets really slow or stops registering. A quick unplugging or reset usually does the trick. However this time.....I believe it has adapted and is now assimilating my computers to do its otherworldly bidding.....

Cheers,

Hey everyone, the system restore did it! Now I just have to figure out which of the spyware programs is holding my IP address in jeopardy!

My thanks to everyone who offered assistance.

Cheers,

Thanks for the tip jdavis, I installed Spybot and it found everything adaware missed. My spyware is gone, my router is ok and the comp is running great.

Once again, my eternal thanks to everyone who helped out!

I run both Spybot and adaware, they both find different stuff. I couldn't believe how much junk I was picking up.
