RPG Print News – Troll Lord, Mongoose, and More

The Dark Lord won; Midnight is back for Dungeons & Dragons. The jabberwock is also available and works in many fantasy RPGs including D&D and Pathfinder. It is cool because it is the jabberwock not because it is a mini. Just to be extra clear. There are also a graph paper pad and a journal with the D&D logo and art as added bling. Pathfinder 2E gets a deluxe book for the Abomination Vaults. Castles & Crusades has two new hardcovers for spells and NPCs respectively and Traveller (2E Mongoose 2E) gets a double adventure and a setting supplement. There are also two RPG core rulebooks, one for Kids on Bikes and the other about losing your memories (which I had to pick up).

The players also have access to a communally controlled Powered Character. No, I don’t know what that means.

• DESCRIPTION: This one sound really intriguing. A one shot roleplaying game for 3-6 players. The PCs are desperate individuals bound together in pursuit of a shared goal. Standing in your way is The Rain. The longer a PC is exposed to The Rain the more they lose your memories, experiences, and the things that make them who they are. Played over 3 Acts, each with a different twist that encourages character growth into what The Rain is leaving behind.
