[RPG] so there is a way to keep others from advancing

i've noticed that bots that i have a hope of fighting and winning against are being kept out of circulation.

what's up with that?

is it strategy on the part of certain RPGers?

Uhm... I must shamely confess that I *think* I've hogged a bot for several hours yesterday. Not my fault, though: at a certain point in the fight, I got a "The battle you have selected does not exist" or something like that, and I assumed that the bot was dead. Some time later, while trying to create a new battle, I got transported to the old battle instead.

right. i know....

as Morrus was tinkering with the code several battles got hung up. mine and Ao also.

but due to that happening it occurred to me that a strategy minded RPGer could... stop the lower level guys from catching up.

I think the Necromancer is hiding because he's afraid... deathly afraid...

Are there any other bots that don't respond? A single bot can't be in more than one fight at a time...

xactly. that is the strategy.

so if someone occupies the kobold....

you can only get killed by the orc

That never occured to me, and I hope its not something people would do.

I still fight the orc a fair bit, as I can one hit kill him. Basically, I let the wraith beat me down, then go play with the orc until I have enough money to heal myself, repeat.

But if I notice other people in the battle area, I try to remember to take a break between fights to give the others a shot. And I don't ever fight the kobold anymore

i don't think it has occurred to many.

i'm just frustrated cuz the orc would make quick toast outta me. and the kobold is the only one i can hope to win against.

The necromancer, last time I checked, wasn't much tougher than the kobold. But I don't understand why he's locked. He doesn't show up in the battle list.

yeah, i noticed he was locked up too. since yesterday also.

i'm guessing it has something to do with the magic update.

Time to go fight that orc though
