I don't play Star Wars D6, so take my suggestion with the grain of salt, there may be better solutions out there. But... MapTool is primarily a VTT that focuses on the map with frameworks offering the system specifics. So it could at least work for your online battlemap and such, but to get system specific macros then you need to find a framework to support your system of choice or build one.
I did find this that might be a rough start to a D6 framework for MapTool:
Battlegrounds (see the link in my sig) is worth checking out. It supports all manner of RPGs and boardgames, with no scripting or XML editing required.
Not wanting to spend to much or do free virtual table. Some of us has low budget as it is. from list of games rules, it does not support D6 system let alone SW:WEG.
Well what are you looking for a virtual table top? Something to interface, the GM to share maps with the the players, a chat area for everyone to talk, and a dice roller. FG can do that it just wouldn't have any other of the benifits of a intergrated game system like a character sheet.
Plus everyone could chip in on a Ultimate bundle for the GM and everyone install an unregistered version and just log into the GM's client.
