Chuck actually wrote a number of trees for Haven: City of Violence AdCs, and I thought that the use of trees for Advanced Classes was innovative. I don't think anyone else took off with the idea, but there's merit for it.
Well, almost all my classes are written this way though. I just usually don't draw a big red circle around my talents and call them talents. Maybe I should

But the Martial Arts Masteries in B&F are talents, the Advanced Training abilities in B&G II are talents, the B&Vigilance classes are built around talent/feat alternations, Blood and Secrets alternates between classes and talents and so forth.
