Tera something. Make a note of that thinks Mr Jones, might be someone the police will want to investigate when this is all over. He is pretty informative this guard, lets see what else he knows. Mr Jones lets the feeling that the gun is getting heavy continue and a suggestion that nothing much is happening and guard duty in general is boring. Have to hand it to the Minister for getting these weapons, what was the name of that arms dealer? Tera-something. It'll make anyone stupid enough to come after us easier to blast, 'specially since we can set them to stun...though that sounds something out of Star Trek.

The guard is bored and is thinking about his shift pattern, he checks his watch how much longer? And what will he be doing next once his shift on the door is up, something more interesting perhaps.
[Sblock=GM]The above for the guard is obviously only if the roll is good enough :> Jones is looking to discover how long until these to get relieved, how often the boss guard comes around to check on them, that sort of thing, plus any nice titbits like after this they will be on student dragging detail etc.
Bluff check to think about the guards shift. (1d20+12=23)

OOC: D'oh! Yeah, guess the Electromagnetic Blaster really should be Lethal -- kinda hard to have a Non-Lethal laser or microwave blast or x-ray laser, even with rubbery comic book super-science
Oh I don't know a tazar is probably electro-magnetic or you might get away with saying it is specially tuned radiation exactly the right wavelength to excite a specific molecule in the nerves triggering a feeling of intense pain so the victim passes out but suffers no lasting damage. But then maybe those are both examples of Stun rather than no lethal blast. [/sblock]
