RS2: The Tokyo Problem (Velmont Judging)

Several minutes elapse and then Scout 'ports back to the Japanese headquarters. A moment later she lets the invisibility drop as she appears to step out of thin air. She looks around briefly and then walks over to rejoin the others. "I attempted to follow the pair as they left the park, but I'm afraid I lost them. I managed to track them to a rail station in downtown Tokyo, but I don't know where they went from there."

She pauses a moment and then continues, "We need to collate whatever information we have on our adversaries. The boy and the girl left the park in a strange car, blue and white with a red robotic head, which I followed to the rail station. The car then dissappeared in much the same fashion as the robot and the ninja's earlier. I'm uncertain of whether the boy can create or manipulate matter and whether he is limited to items he is familiar with, but it appears that it either requires concentration or range to maintain ... either that or he is meticulous about uncreating his creations. Either way, I would guess that all the creatures that have plagued Tokyo lately have been his creations, and it seems that he has been targetting the superhero's here one by one. What we don't know is why he is doing it, and how he is aware of their weaknesses."

She then turns towards Gus, "You mentioned something earlier about an old man when you were talking about the girls fears?"

"Ah well. Was good try, Scout." Gus considers her question.

"Yes, is older man girl is scared of. To put name with face, her mind called him Ichitawa-san." Gus frowns. "Do not think she knew boy's name. Was very afraid of boy, though. May not be willing accomplice." He pauses. "Boy is worrying me."

Marie pipes up, "'Boy' can summon giant robots, apparently at will. Worry is a bit of an understatement for me. We might want to make it a priority to find him and knock him out first thing if he pops up again."

"See? Is not normal," Gus replies, without a trace of irony. "Am thinking we should talk to Tokyo team, see if magic child or mean old man are known quantity. Yes?"

Scout nods in agreement, "Actually we should check if the Tokyo team have accumulated any information on all three of them, the boy, the girl, and the old man. I would be particulary interested to know if the girl has been present at any of the other incidents!"

OOC: based off Scout's earlier post I'm going to assume everyone is back at the Japanese HQ

The main room is empty, the poster still on the wall without any additonal markings. The TV is also quiet. Activity can be heard from the medical room.

<<He is fine, a small relapse with the fire spirit, but all is well. If you are ready to fill me in with what happened I will join you in the main room. Kensai is resting now-your team should as well>> Kitsune "says." There is a large metal box covering the table that Oni-Kage was put on, on each side in the center is a small paper rectangle. Each piece of paper has a different word: fire, metal, earth, water, wood.

Gus waits for the others to join him. He then explains about The Boy, The Girl, and Mister Ichitawa. Gus does include their suspicion that the boy is summoning the creatures attacking the heroes, and that the boy is... very confident. The girl, who claims to be a student at Tokyo U., seems afraid of her... allies? Or captors?

Finally, Ichitawa is just a name, but if they have pictures then Gus can confirm his identity.

Gus is a polite guy, so there's plenty of room for others to add in information.

<<"Hiroshi Ichitawa?">> Kitsune's "voice" sounds concerned and a bit disgusted. She walks over to a screen, taps a few buttons and the image of an older japanese man appears on the screen, the same on Gus saw in the girl's mind.

<<"If it is this Ichitawa, Hiroshi, Ichitawa then it is no surprise what he is up to. Publically he a businessman very wealthy and very powerful. He is also a high ranking member of the Yakuza; but this we have not been able to prove. Hiroshi Ichitawa is also an opponent of super powered individuals-when your Resolutes Organization was forming his voice was the loudest against it here in Japan. If and when he finds out you are here in Tokyo he will be most displeased.">>
