The artwork, per usual, is nothing short of stunning. I LOVE that style. And the Warhammer feel of the world is one of the things I'm anticipating most about seeing the setting develop.

Glad you guys enjoyed it. We'll be posting another poll soon to gather votes on what you'd like to see for the next feature, with different options this time around. Stay tuned. In the meantime, any questions can be posted in this thread.

This campaign setting sounds very interesting. It seems many game companies are going to low-magic, gritty route. I have for years, in my homebrew world, played with low-magic and more realisim.

I notice the dates are future Earth dates. Does this mean the setting is future Earth? Is this game more d20 Modern or d20 D&D?

If it is the future, what events have led to the current situations? Are there standard fantasy races? If so, how did they get to Earth?

Oh yeah, love the art!

Yep, there's been a few trends towards low-magic and grit lately, though we believe that Dark Legacies has gone way farther than anyone else with this. Especially in the way that it handles magic.

It's 100% d20 D&D, no d20 Modern content. The dates are not in fact A.D., they are set after the beginning of a new age, long after the "end of the world."

Some things will be explained, others will be more vague and some will be left entirely for individual gamers and DMs to decide for themselves. I think we've come up with a good balance of fact and speculation in the setting.
