D&D 3E/3.5 "Rules: Saiyans 3.5" by Anubis

Well I don't know the full story...but what I do know is he was warned from posting in a certain thread by a moderator after the discussion became a bit heated (I think Anubis called someone 'insane' for disagreeing with his logic and that caused an uproar from some thin-skinned poster who reported him). Anubis posted anyway, even though in his eyes it was to 'clear the air', and the moderators permanently banned him on the spot. Personally I thought it was a bit harsh to permanently ban him with no prior warning of such a punishment. I mean he deserved a temporary ban (only an idiot posts in a thread after the moderator explicitly warns him not to), but a permanent ban, I don't think so.

I see that you missed the 3 or 4 warnings about his posting behaviour and language in other threads. My favorite was his antagonistic behaviour towards Hypersmurf. That was just a beautiful example of "virtual social darwinism" right there. :)

*shrug* He's been banned for his behaviour before, and when he came back this time, he seemed to be carrying a sizeable chip. He forgot, as did many of us over in the rules forum, that we are nothing more than guests here on Eric Noah's site, and should behave accordingly. Did he deserve a permanent ban? I honestly couldn't say. But then, these aren't my forums, so it isn't my concern anyway.

I agree with Cheiromancer that this is not the place to discuss the issue, so this will be my last post on such matters.

My intentions were not to mislead. I stated at the top of my previous statement that "I don't know the full story".

I'm not going to defend him. He is rash, impulsive, quick to anger, stubborn and with regards the matter at hand, acted without the benefit of wisdom.

He was certainly a persistent dick to YOU, UK.

Nevertheless I consider him a friend. His mannerisms may be coarse but he is not a spiteful person.
