Run a PBP with established players?

I have an established rpg group that won't be able to meet during the next month and I threw out the suggestion of trying the PBP route.

The PBP FAQ doesn't mention running a game with an established set of players and on-going adventure. Is this something that I can do here on ENWorld? Can we lock it to just the established players?

If not, do you have a site you can recommend? I don't want any fly-by-night board that might go down. I'd also like one that I know I can get to through my work's firewall.

People do this, just post a thread in the Talking the Talk to discuss with your players. Don't use the recruiting tag, and try and make it clear that you have your players already.

Yep, it's not a problem. I know of a Nobilis game doing just that here on EN World--I'm jealous and want to join it. Just make it very clear you're not recruiting and that you already have players. Many people will be lured by a new thread otherwise.

Just in case you want an "official" answer - yes, hafrogman and the clone army are correct, there is absolutely no problem with what you want to do.

What you might be a little confused about... in general, the games in the Playing the Game forum are not open for anyone to post into, and that doesn't really happen either. If you post a thread there and tell your group to post there, you can expect that noone else will make a post in there, even though everyone could technically post there.
