*Possible RttToEE spoilers*
I'm running my group through RttToEE right now. Hopefully next time we play they will venture into the Inner Fane. They have finished off the Earth, Water and Fire Temples.
A couple of things that have helped me run the game have been:
1. Have note cards prepared with the generic monsters/fodder troops. Write up the relevant stats for the human/elf warriors for quick reference since they pop up several times throughout the module. Also make cards for the "see Monster Manual" creatures so you don't have to keep too many books open.
2. Make copies of the maps. I photocopy the maps and cut them up by room and then tape them to a piece of paper as the party moves through the dungeon.
3. Don't be afraid to move the forces of the temple around, esp. when it comes to the various elemental temples. Only once has my group managed to "get the drop" on a temple. The Water and Fire temple were quite well prepared and fortified against the assault. It has lead to some great fights.
4. As others have said read the whole module cover to cover. This will really help because there are many approaches to the areas beyond the moathouse.
Those are my tips for running this great epic module. Have fun and don't be afraid to kill a PC or two.
