'Never leave a fallen soldier. Even if it is... him.' Juliana says throught he link.

OOC: I think we're waiting on him to potentialy do damage reduction to not die, in which case you'd best heal him. If not, then, well, we'll see what happens. Poor guy. Juliana almost sorta liked him, which is high praise for her.

Go, go, go! Everyone through the door! Beamer, as soon as I shut this thing, you'd better seal it. It won't take them long to kick it down as it is, and we need a head start!

Juliana sighs as she prepares to withdraw. 'I don't like this Alessa,' she thinks to her psicrystal.

'You can return for the body later. You're no good to him dead.' Alessa thinks back 'Or you gonna show Rowan by being all girly and emotional?'

'Ugh, that man! Why do you keep bring him up?'

'You know why...' the crystal says with a giggle.

Rowan would have never guessed :o

Round 6 (con't)
Beamer walks up to the door and pulls out his scroll.

The bald leader moves again. None of you have ever seen a man move so fast. He runs around the east side of the room, actually moving up to run along the wall, ending up next to Eusebius.

"I could use that wand, minion." he says before smacking Eusebius with his fist. Eusebius manages to avoid being hit, due to the magical armor Beamer encased him with earlier.

"Come back!" shouts the fiendish woman. "Kill them, kit-augh!"

Oddly enough, the orc has moved up behind the woman and stabs her in the back with its sword. She gags on blood, but wheels and lashes out with her mind. The orc screams and blood suddenly bursts from his ears.

The lion, though, has received its command, and leaps on Juliana. It manages to sink its teeth and one claw in through her armor (dmg 6). It pulls her in, but can't get its rear claws through her armor.

The archers, meanwhile, who had been delaying their actions, shoot at Banion. Despite his best defensive efforts, one arrow hits (for 3)

From behind the enemy, down the corridor, a shimmer of light becomes visible.

Round 6 status:
Init order:
Ogre (4 pts str lost/34 pts dmg taken - dead)
Monks (1,2 & 3) (#3 dead)
Beamer (11/17)
Mano

EE (25 dmg taken)

archers (4 & 5) (one injured from earlier combat; delayed)

ooc: Julianna takes up a 5'x5' square. The lion takes up 2 to 4 of these. Can I throw at a portion of the lion not sharing a square with Julianna and avoid the "pick a target at random" issue? If so, Banion will charge and throw his mindblade, in an effort to get the lion off Juliana. Otherwise, Banion will move forward and attack the lion in melee.

Eusebius' eyes widen as the monk leader races towards him. Ducking the hammer-like blow the fellow aims at him, he feels a surge of fierce anger wash through him. Taking a step to the side so as to open up the battle to his allies, he strikes out, channelling his rage in an attempt to stun his opponent, and thereby avoid those fearsome fists.

[sblock=OOC]5 foot step to j3. Single attack - Stunning Fist (DC 15). Dodge against this guy![/sblock]

OOC: Ouch. Who knew lions could hit AC24 consistantly. I'll hold for Banion's move.

OOC2: And yes, I always wondered why he never picked up on it, as she tried to give him a few openings to get closer. She's still confused about things in general, but he's has as good an opening as anyone male out there. Odd given he;'s in theory everything she hates about men personified ;)
