so its impossible to make a 1st level rogue then with the pdf lite handbook? Also i was talking about starting out with a weapon with the pdf lite book.
I don't see how it's impossible. Rogue was the one class they actually released.

Yep we can't make a Rogue using the info so far, there has been no 1st level /d powers released, only a level nine one. 2 are listed in the Rogue article (Trick Strike & Easy Target) but only the names are given. You could give him a cross class power..... :)

no i should have been more specific with my words sorry, What i meant was when i create a character i can just pick what weapon they use... of course if they are proficient . Since there is no rules for money or starting equipment/money yet. Correct?

Sorry yep we only have a few bits and pieces not including costs etc. I would personally just use the starting money and prices from another edition easy enough. You can probably guess the blanks in the weapon lists as well i.e. I would imagine the rapier is a prof 3 wep (+3 to Att if proficient) where as I reckon the flail is prof 1....Close enough for government work ;)

I don't think that's clear yet. However, since being proficient gives you a bonus now (ranging from +1 to +3 depending on the weapon), it's entirely possible that being non-proficient means nothing worse than just not getting the bonus. Personally, though, I would assume you couldn't use your class powers in conjunction with a weapon you weren't proficient in (and might house-rule thus even if that isn't the actual rule).
