Sage Advice - multiclassing

It is amazing how little information they can pack into those videos. Standard magicians trick...show them something flashy so they don't notice that nothing is really going on.

I guess the video ads are a way to give a human face to WotC--and a way to host "exclusive" content on Gleemax. Of course, the content just gets cross-posted on ENWorld anyway... :)

But yeah, each video should have a creation date attached to them. In addition to driving traffic and promoting site loyalty, their have a secondary purpose: disseminating useful information. The pace of 4E's development is so dynamic that (as others pointed out) sometimes the information in the videos is out of date or outright contradiction of current info.

Chris Perkins says, in the video, about the mechanics "they're still in heavy playtesting phase and do still need more work". I thought the PHB was done and out the door to the printers. Is there still time to change rules in the PHB (assuming multiclass rules appear in the PHB)? Or was the video made before the PHB went out?
Why would he sent the material to the printers in January for a June product release? :\

Er, no. They've not said that. It's just gone for the first round of type-setting, layout and editing.

How do you typeset, layout, and edit something that hasn't be written yet? I think it would be especially hard to do the layout if you don't know what the rules are going to be: how long are they? Actually, typesetting and editing would be impossible without the actual text of the actual rules.
