Azeem Razuddi

Azeem thinks on Ezieer's reply. "I think she means the monster that we were sent to find in the first place. We didn't get a chance to find out what it was yet. If I had to guess I would say it was one of those lizard creatures, perhaps. We should return as soon as we can tomorrow and see what we can find out."

"By the gods of the sea and sky... I hopes there's nothing werse than that on the island. And if there is, I hope we don't find it."

Morcano grins quickly and adds: "But if we do find it, I hope there's a beautiful young virgin this time, that we can use as a sacrifice instead of me."

Morcano explains: "Well, I got ripped to shreds from that lizard thing that attacked us, and then got wacked again by those skeletons and casters. I must be a magnet for abuse." He smiles broadly and says: "I guess it just wasn't my day. Hopefully tomorrow goes better. eh?"

"Well as soon as we are done here... I think we should get ourselves fixed up. Everyone can decide if they are going back to the island tomorrow. I know I'm game..."

Theodus, the dwarf, slowly recovers from his mortal wounds and eventually awakens, terribly sore and groggy. He has no idea how long he's been out, but shakily walks around the ship until he finds the others, wary at first but recognizing the ship after wandering around a few minutes. The last thing he remembers was fighting a band of skeletons and evil priests, and white bony claws descending on him....

Theodus gives the evil eye to any seamen that look at him funny because he's hobbling around and all bloody, but is in no condition to give a sound rebuking with his gauntlet. The dwarf finally hobbles over past Alistra Karnom's cabin where the group is talking, and he enters the doorway, one hand against the doorframe to steady him. Theodus glares at Eisinrhyr, Azeem, and Ezieer, clearing his throat to get attention. "Ye bloody fools need to learn......an' heed a dwarf's advice, 'fore we get pummeled agin! ......I told ye to bash the walkin' dead, but nooo, ye didn't care t' hear the talk o' a body who's" he winces, "been fightin' undead before.... Baaah, stabbin' what ain'ts gots no bloody innards t' stab...." wincing again, the dwarf shakes his gauntleted fist at the nearest of his companions. "I'm buyin' all o' ye Galvar-forsaken lot a barrel o' maces an' hammers next time we be in town, an' I'll set ya a-right if I haves t' beat the sense into ye!" The dwarf groans suddenly at pain in his gut from talking too much with his wounds still open, and curses quietly in Galvic.

"My...pardons, madame Karnom, but could I trouble ye for," he winces, ".....some fresh water to clean me blood off meself..." he says with a small voice that sounds ashamed, "an' maybe a healer too..." Theodus slumps a bit and won't look anyone in the eyes right now, weak as he is.

Ezieer smirks at the dwarven bards lack of diplomacy. But doesn't seem to take insult... Noting his wounds which do look painful enough to put him in a foul mood.

"Well in fact Mr. Dwarf... I was werking on them spellcasters with me blade first. And fer me thats blade not blunt werk. Not liken them castin' upon us.. no sirs. Aftera thatem, I dids take yer suggestion to heart. I located that spellcasters quarterstaff and put it to good use. Yer just wasn't standing when I gots around to it. Sadly.. Azeem also took your advice, but chose to go aftar thar mace by all the walkin' bones. A choice I think he regrets as they all clobbered him a good one."

Ezieer tries to smooth this all over.

"As fer a club ora sumthin'... that's not a bad Idea. I just got to figure out where to put all my extra weight. I should be able to do it... once I put me mind on it."
