Build Concept​




Sainted Justice is a hybrid that leads and defends from the frontline. Clad in platemail, and armed with divine might and martial fury, she is a adept at both the role of defense and that of leading.


Sainted Justice does damage, but that isn't her primary aim. Rather, he punishes enemies for attacking her allies, and heals them when they are damaged. She enables them to make out of turn attacks, and is a vertable font of encounter based healing.












Five Tools of the Saint​




Sainted Justice has many options available to her, but the following five powers are the ones you'll use most.






Direct the Strike - This At-will is vital to Sainted Justice, especially during the opening rounds of combat. When there are many enemies on the board, and optimum position to mark them all leaves you non-adjacent to any of them, Direct the Strike ensures your turn never goes to waste. In addition, it is highly useful if your enemy outmaneuvers you, as you can just sit pretty and encourage your allies to attack in your place.


Enfeebling Strike - This at-will is your mainline option after your first level, and it will serve you well. Granting marked enemies a -2 penalty to attacks, it ensures they come to regret threatening your allies.


Divine Challenge - While the damage this does due to being a hybrid is lessened- it isn't *that* much lessened, and when used in conjunction with certain options, can be very potent.


Divine Sanction - While Challenge is single target, Divine Sanction comes in many forms, and Sainted Justice makes use of many of thems to ensure that most enemies on the board remain marked for the first two or three rounds of combat. At later levels when certain options open up, this enables her to enforce a sizable degree of control on enemies who violate her marks.


Inspiring Word - The core of her healing arsenal, Inspiring Word is a powerful option. While only available once per encounter through heroic, the availability of other options with similar functionality more than makes up for this lack. In addition, when the option to use it twice per encounter opens at paragon tier, and further options become viable thereafter, Inspiring Word becomes one of the more potent sources of healing available.










Divine Raiment of the Saint​






There are many equipment options available to a character throughout the course of their career. The following are ones central to the Saint's capability, and have proven valuable additions.




Benefactor Armor - This armor is available to chain, scale, and plate, and as an encounter power enables a healing power to add your charisma modifier to the HP healed. As a daily power, when you use a healing power one adjacent ally can spend a healing surge and regain your charisma modifier in extra HP


Gloves of the Healer - At first this option seems very potent, however notice that the game text of its property 'one target of your healing power can regain extra HP' means that if you target all your allies, only one of them gains the benefit. Still, between this effect and the daily item power, these gloves are a powerful addition to your equipment.


Healer's Brooch - Simple yet potent, this neck slot increases the amount of HP your healing powers returns.


Mace of Healing - Almost identical gametext to Healer's Brooch with one minor difference- the boost only functions on powers that heal your allies.


Shield of Deflection - Hey now, don't laugh. This common item may look lackluster, but has proven pretty potent all told. Granting resist all damage 2/5/10 at heroic/paragon/epic versus ranged and area attacks, this shield helps you stand in the middle of combat longer, without worrying about that pesky artillery you can't quite reach. Many enemies have ranged or area attacks, and this shield proves a vital always-on option to combat them.
