Cancer is a [redacted] and I hope it gets [redacted] eliminated in my lifetime. It has taken so many friends, family members, and loved ones from me. I hate it, and I don't use that word very often.

I'm glad he's doing well, and as a fellow cancer patient (skin cancer) I'm glad he's doing something most of us can't: using his platform to promote awareness and healing. Sam's right, folks: get your vaccines, listen to your bodies, and listen to your doctors.

All children in the UK get offered (and generally given) the HPV vaccine at age 12-13 (as it works best before you have been exposed to it). Use to be just girls when the link to cervical cancer was discovered (9 out of 10 cervical cancer cases are caused by HPV), but now it is both due to the cancers it causes in men and better herd immunity.
