Dex save: [8]+4=12
1d20 (2) + 6 = 8

Eeek = you're also both prone as well!

On initiative count 19 is the Gish... the creature with the mohawk continues to berate the crew from behind its blue Globe of Invulnerability when suddenly a small orb of bright flame erupts from within the Globe and streaks towards the ship...

Another Dexterity save is in order from everyone as Fireball takes effect; catching you all in the blast radius.

41 points of damage (Dex half). Saves please.

Dex save: 6 (I hope I can start rolling double digits soon)
Bonus: 10
Paladin Aura: 5

Total: 21

Also, I have Evasion.

PS: Don't forget Emboldening Bond!

First: Because the gish is behind a globe of invulnerability counterspell is useless (even if upcast) correct?

Assuming that's right (and probably regardless)

Reaction: Absorb elements

Save:
Roll: 18 (I took a DND beyond screenshot, 1 roll! Edit: and then I dumped it when I copy pasted this doh! sorry)
Bonus: 8
Paladin: 5
Emboldening Bond: (Can I choose not to use this for this role and save it)?

So: 31 total

41/2 = 20 (round down yes?)
20/2 (absorb elements): 10 damage taken

1d20 (8) + 6 = 14

Edit: 1d4 (1) with Emboldening Bond, so 15
Fail; 41 fire damage. Ouch!
Dex save: 6 (I hope I can start rolling double digits soon)
Bonus: 10
Paladin Aura: 5
Pass; you duck behind the palisade on the raised deck you're on at the last moment and thanks to evasion, take no damage!

20/2 (absorb elements): 10 damage taken

Roger; you pass the save and also snap your hand out absorbing the damage with absorb elements for 10.

Waiting on the Cleric and Sorcerer.

I posted mine. I assume I pass based on the rogue but take 20 fire damage.

(The score was 20+4=24)
