D&D 5E Sample adventure to test 5E in high level (15th) play. Any takers?

Still smoldering and barely standing on his feet, Alvin bravely staggers in front of the dragon and squares off with him. "Your rider is defeated, the rest of these troops are scattered! Just fly away. That's all you have to do!" And then his blade lashes out in a blur of glowing metal, each one a sting made to drive his point home.

Move: 1 square SW, 1 square W.

Attack 1 vs Dragon: 5+2+11= 18
13 Slashing*
Attack 2 vs Dragon: 18+11= 29
14 Slashing
Attack 3 vs Dragon: 14+11= 25

And now its the Sorcerer.

And now its the Sorcerer.
Galvich chuckles. "You've made this trip interesting. Far too interesting for my tastes. I would have offered you mercy but I'm afraid any future travelers would be treated with such poor hospitality as us. I'll have to cut this short, I pray your soul finds peace."

Galvich uses her action to disengage and her bonus action to Quicken Scorching Ray (4th-level). She then uses her last available sorcery point to gain resistance to fire damage.

[18]+12= 30
Damage: [5]+[6]+5 =16 fire damage

[2]+12= 14
Damage: [5]+[3] = 8

[3]+12=15
Damage: [6]+[6]=12

[20]+12= Nat20!
Damage: [1]+[5]+[6]+[5]=17 fire damage

[2]+12=14
Damage:[3]+[6]=9

Could my attack rolls be any worse (besides the crit?)

Likely damage given: 33 fire damage

And that does it! With a cry of pain, the Gish perishes!

Bard (@Mort) youre up next mate.

It's just Crimsontide the Dragon left.

Bartholomew strums his lyre and casts
Hypnotic pattern (3rd level) on the dragon.

DC 18 WIS save at disadvantage.

Edit
IF the dragon is charmed, he will then move next to it so the Rogue can sneak attack it.

As a story/character matter, I would rather have waited to see if the dragon would fly away ... but (1) that won't happen now that it's charmed, and (2) that wouldn't really contribute toward the purpose of this thread, which is to test out casters vs martials in combat. So, sneak attack it is, but I feel kind of bad about it OOC!

Shortsword attack with advantage:
1st roll is a natural 1. Rerolling that because I'm a halfling, so it becomes 7 + 13 = 20.
2nd roll is a 4 + 13 = 17.

Assuming that hits, damage is an auto-crit because of the hypnotic pattern.
Weapon damage = 2 + 4 (+8 modfier) = 16 piercing.
Sneak attack (16d6) = 30 (8d6) + 32 (8d6) = 62 piercing.
Grand total: 78 piercing damage.

Let me know if the dragon's still standing after that.

There is no advantage to hit.

Hypnotic pattern charms and incapacitates a creature. Neither condition grants advantage.

You also moved to the Dragon, meaning Tashas Aim action is not usable either.

But the 1, re-rolled for halfling to a 7 hits (just).

It's also not a critical hit so please re-roll the damage.

Look - it shouldn't matter anyway. It's a hit for likely 30-40 damage. We have the fighter and Cleric to go still this turn, then the sorcerer and Bard again.

Fighter you might as well have your go and finish him off.

Shoot the dragon in the eyeballs.

Attack 1
To Hit: 1d20 (2) + 10 = 12
Damage: 1d6 (4) + 18 = 22

Attack 2
To Hit: 1d20 (15) + 10 = 25
Damage: 1d6 (2) + 18 = 20

Attack 3
To Hit: 1d20 (3) + 10 + 1d4 (3) = 16
Damage: 1d6 (3) + 18 = 21

Attack 4
To Hit: 1d20 (13) + 10 = 23
Damage: 1d6 (6) + 18= 24
