Comic-con Update

-----------------------------
I just attended the preview night of Comic-con, and I can tell you there isn't much RPG-oriented stuff... Steve Jackson Games has a booth (at least I think that's them--they're selling LOTS of non-SJG stuff...), Green Ronin, and WotC. I am sure I have missed other vendors, but my mad dash through the exhibition didn't leave much time... Almost 3,000 booths/tables... Too much to absorb in one evening, and not everyone has shown up yet... (!!!)

There is a gaming presence at the Con, mostly CCG's. RPGA has some games (I'm listing them below, as well as other pertinant info from our Living Greyhawk/Nyrond site), but this isn't a well-known gaming convention. It's rapidly growing into one, but i'ts still pretty small. Schedules can be had www.nyrond.org on the event listing links in the bottom right-hand corner on the calendar.

There are also several Living Arcanis mods being offered in addition to the other campaigns below, but I don't have any direct scheduling info on those. They are listed in the program guide available here at the convention, though.

Decipher, Paizo, and Games Workshop are also there. Steve Jackson and Atlas are being represented by folks who's name I forget. I think Steve is being sponsored by them.

The last time I looked through the program book I spotted 7 gaming related panels. Two of them with Steve Jackson. When you consider there were no gaming panels at the con last year, this is a big jump.

I'll be playing Living Greyhawk all weekend there.

Although it sucks because it's still 3.0!

I really want to test out the 3.5 rules!!
