I had the honor and pleasure of playing in one of the tournaments at Gencon, along with getting a chance to look at some of the artwork for the never published Remohaz book.

My condolences to his family.

I will be dedicating a D&D game to Sang's memory this Saturday from 3-9pm. If you're in NYC, please join me to celebrate some of the good times we had together. The invitation stands even if you didn't have the chance to know him, as I hope this will be a good example of the kind of bold, generous, witty play he inspired in every group he was part of.

I translated this thread into Korean to give to Sang's parents; I hope they will be as moved as I was to see how many people across the world he touched with this small fraction of his creative output, one he didn't even value a tenth as much as I did. (Sang saw himself primarily as an author and one of my many regrets is that Behemoth3 never got around to publishing any of his gifted writing, some of which he posted at OpenSalon.)

Given that y'all are from all over, no doubt Sang will not be the only one whose presence will be missed this Saturday; but it'd be good to know that wherever you are, you're also getting together with friends and imagining the hell out of the game we all love.
