A friend of mine was thinking of going Sanctified Mind (lords of madness) after doing 11 levels of Psy warrior. He didn't realize that the caster and manifester levels don't stack. You have to pick either or. Now our campaign has a low amount of psionic encounters but when there are they are usually tough.
Also as a side note we were trying to make a SMi that did stack the caster/manifester levels. Would making the class BaB 3/4 and maybe requiring 1st level divine spells be balanced?
Here is a Class breakdown for those that don't have LoM
Sanctified Mind-Prestige Class
6 levels, D8 hit die, 4+int skill points
Full Base Attack Bonus, Good saves Fort and Will
Levels 2-5, +1 existing divine caster or manifesting class.
Special
1 - Partition Mind: Make your self slow to avoid a mental affect for Class level + Cha rounds per day
2 - Cleansing Strike: As Holy Smite vs. Psionic users. 1/day add +5 to attack and class level * d6 dmg.
3 - Disrupting blow 1/day: Before attack on succseful hit victim must save vs. DC = 10 + class level + Wis mod or loses psionic and psi like abilities for 1d4 rnds.
4 - Hard to hold: Gain a bonus equal to your class level on all grapple checks to resist or escape from a grapple.
5 - Disrupting blow 2/day
6 - Power Resistance: At 6th level, you gain power resistance
equal to 5 + your character level.
