Also, you may want to check out Blood and Guts from RPGObjects.

I'm not sure how well they covered some of the foreign military units, but I did hear Chuck (the author) mention some things in other posts.

Either way, it's definately a good looking resource for all things military. Maybe Chuck will see this and post something. His handle here at EN World is Vigilance.

While there are only American units in the main book (Blood and Guts), the first free web enhancement for the game will have 3 British special ops classes in it, including SAS.

Well- according to the research I did on special ops, they were listed as a special ops unit on every site devoted to the UK forces. Also, based on what I read about their training course its *as least as hard as* (if not more so) than the American Ranger course, which is no cakewalk by any stretch of the imagination. :)

Maybe they get a little extra bump because people hear the word "Commando" who were the original special forces as we know them today- but I felt they were a legit force. There are just a LOT of them (again like the Rangers)- so Im sure not every Commando has levels in the Prestige class, which is how I worked the Rangers as well.

Still- the training course for the Commandos is 30 weeks- putting it on a par with SEALs BUDS and Air Force Pararescue as the longest training courses by anyone's military anywhere.
:)

Fair points, I look forward to reading more :)

Admittedly not as difficult, but the training course for being an administrator in the RAF is 26 weeks long, if you add in the 7 weeks basic military training, it's longer than the Commandos ;)
