Once per turn when you roll damage for a melee weapon
attack, you can reroll the weapon’s damage dice and use
either total.

2d8+4

If you don't like the total, roll it again. But you're still limited to 2d8+4

Would not roll the dice again and use the total?

You are allowed to use either total, not both totals.

It will be 2d8+4 or a different 2d8+4, whichever total is higher most likely.

Sorry, but I do not understand. For me it with savage attack rolls 1d8 + 1d8 + 4 (the savage attack). With a critical hit, wonder if he rolls over 1d8 (only attack) or roll it all over again, including the savage attack.

I guess it's lost in translation.

Savage attack, normal hit:
1d8+4. Roll twice, use ONE of the results.

Savage attack, critical hit:
2d8+4. Roll twice, use ONE of the results.

Savage attacks does not grant additional damage, it grants alternative damage.

Without a critical hit, you roll 1d8+4 and a different 1d8+4. If the first 1d8+4 is 5 and the second 1d8+4 is 7: You would deal 7 damage, not 12.

If you score a critical hit, then you would pick between 2d8+4 or 2d8+4. If the first 2d8+4 is 16, and the second 2d8+4 is 10: You would deal 16 damage, not 26.

Sorry for my English because I'm from Brazil.
From what I understand about Savaga Attack, you roll the dice of damage 2 times and takes the total. Is not it?

No, you are not adding all the dice together. If you have TWO dice pools of damage to pick from, you choose one or the other, whichever is highest.
