Not it you're going to be needing any sapling trees felled, or ropes cut quickly. Besides, IIRC, daggers to piercing damage, whereas handaxes to slashing. Nothing comes to mind immediately, but I'm sure there's something out there that's more vulnerable to slashing weapory than piercing weaponry.
