[Savage Tide] Meravanchi won the election for lord mayor

Being the bloodthirsty lot that they are, my players spent the first four weeks of Tides of Dread doing everything they could to avoid spending time in Farshore. With only a week to gather votes, they failed to help Lavinia win and Manthalay took over the colony.

So now Avner has been appointed to lead the defence of Farshore, and the PCs are working for him! After that awful overland trek through Here There Be Monsters, they really hate his guts. They're even talking about abandoning the colonists to their fate now... *laugh*

Heh. You know, in our game, my character actually piped up when he heard they were holding an election. I spoke to the wizardly guy about my qualities as candidate for mayor of Farshore.

Of course that was before the fighter went nuts and stabbed one of the Jade Ravens, so we retconned things and headed off into the Isle's jungle.

Also, in our game Avner ran off into the night during a TPK with the gargoyles. Turns out Olangru grabbed him and Thunder and although we handwaved the rescue, I was just itching for the chance to publically humilate Avner as a coward.
