Savage Worlds Rifts [OOC]

Well Dawn soaked one wound with the roll of a 5 so she is at -2, still rough.

I known not to put lots of Wild Cards and use their Bennies right away with other Savage Worlds games just not Rifts. Trying to figure out where to set things is hard. Partly we have Toughness in the party ranging from the teens to the thirties :)

OK I am not as glum as I felt last night but still a bit :)
 

Deezy made her Agility roll, so I dunno if she needs to soak damage or not. One benny down to make that roll.

She has 12 PPE left now. Enough for one more multifire blast. Which, to be fair, I rolled crap on last time. One big boom is good, but in SW three moderate hits are actually better than one BIG hit. So I can do another full Onslaught on the mage and hope to roll better hits/damage.

After that though, she'll need to use actions to improvise devices. Probably a Heal for Dawn first...

GreenKarl, is there cover in or near the campsite? And don't be glum. This is all about learning, for all of us. :)
 

No if you made your Agility roll you avoid all damage.

Yes there is cover around the camp. Cover gives you -1 or -2 to being hit by ranged attacks and +1 or +2 AP vs. area type attacks
 

So to be clear about where things stand, Dawn is at 2 wounds and 1 benny, but otherwise still alive, right? And are the gargoyles all wildcards, or just the mage?

Ah I am sorry I did not see that you edited your posts. Also didn't you spend a Benny to re-roll your Soak also? You posted a 5 as your roll here and that is why I assumed that you are only at 2 wounds.

Yes you can shot at the mage with the pump pistol. You can also take your free move up to Pace of 8 so that you would be lots closer to it... finally, your Armor has the Heal power on it doesn't it? Just a another thought...
