Today I was flipping though the 2009 WotC product catalog and saw the cover for E3: Prince of Undeath and for some reason I thought about that colossal red dragon ad in Dragon Magazine (the one where the group doesn't have the colossal red mini so they're facing a Thanksgiving turkey on the battlemat).
I had to wonder if a slab of pork will make a good substitute for the gargantuan orcus mini that I'm missing. Of course, it'll be uncooked to heighten the sense of danger and to let the party know that if they drag the encounter out, things could get ugly.
