Scaling the adventure -- to the max!

Hey, if my players think of using magic to defeat rubble piles instead of monsters, more power to 'em.

Honestly, my other immediate concern wasn't getting the EL up (though doing so without breaking adventure assumptions might be difficult.) It's the fact that the replacement creature(s) often take up more room, and in some cases I considered doubling the map scale (1 square = 10 ft.)
