Yes this is true. Relics and Rituals. Page 24. In game terms this means anyone wearing ANY armor has their arcane spell failure doubled. Thus it's pretty easy to believe that any sorcerer or wizard (bards may or may not create Arcane heat, as there is a variant rule for them in the Player's Guide to Wizards, Bards and Sorcerers), wearing armor will fail their arcane spell casting check. At least if you're using anything medium armor or heavier. There are ways around it but they aren't always easy to come by.Fenes said:Sort of a newbie question...
