I agree with Navar, once you read Echoes of the Past, you'll never look at the Slacerians quite the same way again. Now having a relationship with a demonic horde, I could certainly see that within the realm of the Slacerian's interest. They aesthetic evil at their finest, I'll agree. But just wait to you see their "secret" nature. Trust me it will flip you out. (God knows it did me. But I still love it.)

Hey Nightfall, do you happen to know if they are taking submissions for new novels? One of my players wants to try and write one for a setting, and since he is having so much fun in the Scarred Lands would like to do it there. He tried e-mailing them but got no response. Just wondering if you happend to know =)

Sadly I don't but my hope it will be late 2004, early 2005. Just have to wait for the fall schedule to sort itself out to be sure.

In the aspect of comments area, our good reviewer JoeGKushner reviewed Blood Sea: The Crimson Abyss.
Not sure I 100% agree with everything he said but it's a good review and fairly accurate. I might have given it a 3.5-4.0 but I will agree there are instances where it can be a little off in the writing and certainly the arguement of distances has come up more than once. (My Dm's mind believes there is a subtle time dilation in effect in the Blood Sea, to explain the distance in the maps.)
And if you can't tell this is indeed a bump.
