Thanks Nightfall (May I call you NF ;)?)

Another question

What is the name of the 3rd continent on Scarn? Any word as to whether/when it will see print?
NF is fine, but in more "formal" company, Nightfall. (Just kidding! :D)

Asherak and as far as I know there is a SLCS:Asherak slated for 2004 (later in the year of course). But not much more is known currently.

Drendari, followers, prestige classes

Are there any prestige classes specifically for the followers of Drendari? If so where are they found?

No, there are not (as per Nightfall's reply), however:
- there is one organization (called Shadow Walkers),
- Shadowdancer prestige class is available almost exclusively (as per numerous sources, among them Player Guide to Rogues and Rangers) to her followers.

Ruemere

does casting cone of cold generate heat?.............that would be rather inane wouldn't it?

Why? Refrigerators generate heat (or more appropriately, move it around :)), so why a wizard could not?

(BTW, thanks for creating this thread :))

What published/free adventures do you recommend using in SL? I have Serpant Amphora, the free one off the website.

What's with the Chosen of Mesos PrC in the Wizards and Sorcerers Guide? What balances it? I can't see any downside to taking it and it looks easily 50% more powerful than a straight sorcerer.

They do generate heat. Any electric device (except for mere superconductive wires) generates heat. They also move around it from inside to outside, of course. But the total heat released is greater than the total heat removed.

I'd probably use Necromaner Games and S&SS related material. Mostly because it's easy to use I feel. No idea about the rest John.

Well two things balance it. 1) It's STILL the perview of the DM to allow it. 2) Do you honestly see a non-evil PC or even NPC wanting to mess with an Arcane Devorer?

That said I will agree, Blessed of Mesos is a power-trip for any sorcerer. But do remember they have to use their Bloodline of Power spells to fill out most of their known spells. (Chuckles to self. Chosen of Mesos. Like Mesos would even let Elminster or the Seven sisters in the door! :p ;) :D )

Crothy, I couldn't find anything in my collection and if Ruemere doesn't have have it I doubt there's any around current. That being said, I take the time to make one. I have an old Pr-class anyway that I can use.

Right. Anyway even with casting a spell with the Cold/Ice descriptor, there's no chance that will negate arcane heat. Mostly because its internal and therefore you need protection from fire/heat spells. Which is why coldweave is such a good investment for most arcane spellcasters.

Sir Nightfall,

Here is my question: What are of the domians of the returned Forsaken elves god? Someone forgot to put in the new 'spatbook.

And his write up too.

The players' guides are good and make me wonders why WoTC does not give up and let S&S wrote them.

Where did this Arcane magic generates heat thing come from? Is it something you've added, or is it in one of the Scarred Lands source books?
