Bother to people posting while I'm still writing!

Well, Arms and Equipment would be helpful, too, apparently.

But my little system is free, if perhaps a bit obnoxious to figure out. Heh.
Which just says a lot about you Trick and nothing about your system. ;) But it's a decent idea nonetheless. I'll keep it in mind.

Werner, Freelancers and especially S&SS freelancers are exempt from my wrath of using non-SL stuff. But I will say it's okay overall to use Arms and Equipment Guide somewhat.

IMO, it's about the only redeeming feature of the A&EG.

Is the Herald of Vangal still in the Creature Collection Revised? I was wondering, since she was re-printed/redone in The Divine and the Defeated, and I don't have the CCR yet. Just curiosity, and a half-veiled bump.

Demiurge out.

Nope both she and Drendari's avatar were cut. They consider the ones in Divine and the Defeated to be the "real" ones.

You may remember I was creating an Elven Druid character.

I've been reading the description of the Broadreach elf in Hornsaw. Now, in my character description, I have written that my character fled as a child (haven't worked out the exact age, but he should remember it) from the Broadreach druing the aftermath of the Divine war, during which his father was slain by a Hornsaw unicorn. My character then fled to the Ganjus forest, where he was raised.

I was wondering if my character should be a broadreach elf? Certainly he was born as one, but has lived the majority of his life in the Gangus forest.

Also, even if he is a woodelf, I wan't my character to have sort of a nostalgic longing for the Broadreach (his 'true home'). Did many broadreach elves settle in the Gangus? How much of broadreach culture was transported to the Ganjus? What are the relations between the two groups of elves?

Also, would my character have/not have profiency to the Broadreach elf weapons in Hornsaw?

Any other advice on this character would be appreciated.

John,

My understanding is that some DID flee into the Ganjus. Most though chose to stay and fight the changes happening to their land. Now there is a way to turn a normal wood elf into a broadreach elf, but it involves a ritual and I think an XP cost of 5% per character level. I could be wrong but I think that's right. It's really up to you if you want him to be a normal wood elf who stays a wood elf, a wood elf that becomes a broadreach elf, or maybe just alter your character's history to have stayed in the Broadreach and now just woken up recently. If you do the stays the wood elf, he wouldn't be proficient. If he changes into or just straight out become a broadreach elf, then yes.

I'm still on vacation of sorts but change the dates folks to the 29th instead of the 27th. Even so I look forward to questions AFTER the new year.
