I picked up the Scarred Lands Campaign Setting for 14.50 today... Was that a good price?Nightfall said:Anything else folks?
Well, as the SLCS main book has virtually no mechanics besides the prestige classes, I'd say that book doesn't need an update.Brother Shatterstone said:I picked up the Scarred Lands Campaign Setting for 14.50 today... Was that a good price?
real question: Also is their any plans on "upgrading" to 3.5?
Yep, it was a good price. I know I paid full price for my copy.Brother Shatterstone said:I picked up the Scarred Lands Campaign Setting for 14.50 today... Was that a good price?

Not sure I'd say that but certainly the appendix section of the book could use it if nothing else. Even if it's just web update. That said I don't seeing it happening unless there's a large outcry OR someone else submits for the rest to see. The 3.5 R&R update isn't an update per-se. What happening is R&R3 will take some of the material from some of the previous books (not R&R but the setting books), and update them to 3.5.johnsemlak said:Well, as the SLCS main book has virtually no mechanics besides the prestige classes, I'd say that book doesn't need an update.
I think a lot of key updated info is in CC Revised and the Player's Guides.
There are rumors of some sort of 3.5 Relics and Rituals, what did Nightfall say about that...?

You know something I don't about these paladins of Madriel or did I miss something? But thanks for adding that paladins of Corean CAN multi-class with cleric freely. I would say the same for the others but I'd prefer not to say that out loud due to wanting to see if PG: Monks and Paladinss bears this out for me. [..]
It would depend on their past life form...but I don't see why it would be restricted so long as the DM and the guidelines are followed from the revised version.theRuinedOne said:Okay, Mister Sage. Here's a question.
The Past Life forms of the Incarnate prestige class, you know how they sort of replace the druid wildshape, right? But they still add to the number of wildshape uses. And they have rules regarding the HD of the past life form.
Does this restrict the increases in wildshape with regards to size and type, for instance druids at 8th level can shift into Large creatures. Can a Druid 6/Incarnate 2 shift into a large creature with their normal wildshape uses?
It's a bit hazy for me, so I'm looking for your informed opinion.
