Interesting.

I might be out of the loop...but I doubt it's true.

If they are. *shrugs* eh just means I go solo for Scarred Lands. :D

Banshee,

The more recent products (Blood Sea, Echoes of the Past, Blood Bayou,) appear to be at reduced prices. I'm not sure about the rest.

Someone told me that a rumor was going around that White Wolf is getting out of the D20 trade. Can anyone substantiate that?
If you look at the 'Insider' for April to June, and if you ignore Malhavoc and Necromancer, you won't find any generic d20 product on the list. Was there anything d20 left besides those ill-named Relics & Rituals books, anyway? But, of course, there are still Warcraft, Everquest, Ravenloft and DragonMech.

If you mean recently? Probably not but then even before SL went out of town, there wasn't anything d20 other than that Advanced Player's thingie. At least I'm reasonable sure.

Still find this "rumor" of WW getting out of d20 a little riduculous...but not with out some merit I'll grant you Tur.

I'm looking forward to Dark Tales too ! I have high hope for this book.

Getting only 3 RL books a year is not a lot, really, especially when one is MotRD...

Um, Sword & Sorcery Studios/Arthaus (i.e., not Malhavoc or Necromancer) has never published all that many non-setting associated d20 products. That's not particularly telling.

Er, there are the post-SL R&R books. It would be nice if we saw more of those; I think they did a bang-up job.

Psion,

True but as you so clearly stated in an earlier thread, before that there few if any non setting related d20 books. So far as I could see, the only one was the Advanced Player's thing. I might be wrong but I beileve other than that and those R&R setting ideas (Arthurian and Greek), nothing else was done that wasn't either SL, RL, WC, or EQ.

Brennin,

I think you'll like Hornsaw. I thought it was a great little guide.

I would have thought you'd put in a plug for Shelzar, since you are in it.

In any event, I have skimmed through Hornsaw and I like what I see so far. I like the concept of a tainted forest and the competing factions within (especially insane sentinels).

By the way, it is nice to have you back.
