Great Idea!

Hi,

I think that the idea of paying for Morrus' trip to Gencon is wonderful.

Just a suggestion though - someone really should get in touch with Peter A &/or Ryan Dancey about this.

Since Peter now owns Gencon he may be able to help - maybe cheap air tickets, accomodation, etc. And given the support shown at the Ennies this year, I think there's a good chance they'd help.

Talking to Russ, he doesn't seem to have a consistent set of characters, since he doesn't seem to have any long-running games. Or else he's being evasive. So hard to illustrate his characters.

Does he have a favorite? All gamers have that old character they just loved and constantly tell stories about, if we can learn of his we can illustrate that character.

That might be cool, have Morrus as the 11 core classe: Iconic Morrus.

Well, there is one pic in Four-Color to Fantasy of him as a vampire being staked through the heart, but at the time Jessica (the artist and my girlfriend) had only one photo to work from. So it's not quite accurate.

i could make him a "head d20 honcho" mug, or some kind of loving cup vase with a message if folks agree on what to send him.

another idea- i do "wedding vases" a large vase signed by guests at a wedding instead of a guest book. it lasts forever and doesn't get shoved in a drawer like a guestbook. i could make one for everyone here who goes to goncon to write their best wishes to him on, and mail it to him when it was done
