Apparently this got theatrically released in some places. And apparently had Val Kilmer doing a cameo. So it's not quite direct to DVD (And thus Patrick Swayze preserves his mightiness)

I IMDBed the lead actor last night watching the movie. I kept thinking, "Wasn't he the guy in the DnD movie? The good one I mean." But I guess I recognized him from Rome of A Knight's Tale.

So why did the Sci-Fi channel rename this? "Dragon Sword" makes so sense at all. Since it was a spear in the dragon, not a sword.
