I have tried running Fading Suns, Star Wars, Dragonstar and Stardrive (Alternity) even with out using the spaceships. It just did not work for me. That is why have these limits on what I am looking for. Paranonia, I know I can not run. Trust me I know. Ringworld would be to find any way.

Have you tried GURPS, perhaps, or even (shudder) d20 Modern?

Yes I am aware of Alternity and have the game, but that is still under me coming with a game world.

Gurps I know, but still not if my group wants to use GURPS, I am still waiting for a reply from them. Some are out of time for the holidays.
