Scotley's and Leif's Constables of the 14th Ward [3.5E D&D] [OOC 02]

Tau's character sheet has been updated.

As for Tau's share: He starts with 6570 gp. From the haul he keeps the Rod of Frost and the Dagger +1, the leftover cash is used to buy a Metamagic Rod of Sculpt Spell, craft two Pearls of Power lvl 1, and scribe two Archivist spells, Flaming Sphere and Barkskin. That leaves him with 618 gp in cash. He also scribes some spells for free because he leveled up.

@Everyone: Doesn't anyone want the Lesser Energy Assault weapon crystal? It's +1d6 elemental damage to any weapon and Scotley might even let you pick which element it uses. It will only take 1,500 gp from your share of 6570 gp. It would probably even work on Braz's crossbow.

Also, Tau is willing to make items at half price for other people in the group if they agree to take on the XP cost (If that's even possible). Stat boosters and, Natural Armor, and Save bonuses are easy to do.

@DMs: Tau has never used his Empower Spell feat and I'm not sure why it's there. Can I exchange it for the feat Cloudy Conjuration from Complete Mage instead?

I've never read about or used crystals. Is that bonus to every attack the weapon does? It's not charged, won't run out, etc?
Ok, imagine the flaming property on a weapon. This means +1d6 fire damage to every attack it makes. Now imagine it contained in a crystal. This crystal you can attach to any weapon, take off at any time, and transfer to any other weapon you want. It has no charges and is always on.

It's really a great deal. There are several in the MIC but you can only have one on each weapon at a time. They even have armor crystals.

All that sounds good. The crystal was electricity, but if you'd rather have fire or cold I don't mind. I've often been tempted to take Cloudy Conjuration. I like the idea of it and want to see it in action. I'm fine with the switch.

Sounds good, and I've been sort of trying to turn SoulFetter into a damage dealer. I'll take it!

I'd rather have Fire or Cold than Electricity. Cold has always appealed more to me aesthetically than Fire, so if Scotley's OK with it we'll make it a cold dealing crystal.

Now SoulFetter's ready to go!

Good deal, Mowgli. I didn't take the crystal because I couldn't afford it, they really do rock.

As for Alarion, he sold his banded mail and old chain shirt (for 325 gp), and claimed the new chain shirt. He finalized the purchase of his commissioned MW full plate (been a while) and had it enchanted to +1. Finally, in his role as party defender, he purchased an amulet of natural armor +1. He had enough left for a lesser armor crystal of life-keeping (which for RP purposes I'll say he received on his ordaining as a Faithful Son of Morwyn).

In terms of crunch, I really wanted to choose the life domain, but as part of Alarion's character development was his realizing that justice tempered by mercy and the protection of the weak is more important than personal glory, it became obvious that guardian and compassion was the way to go.

Did we decide on a final amount of cash for each PC after selling all loot? I'm not sure Brae is going to purchase anything, but it would be easier to decide if I had a final amount to spend. :D

Very, very cool new additions to SoulFetter, Brae, Tau, Alarion, and everyone else. (Darius, Raul and Braz -- didn't forget anybody, did I? :heh: ) I can't wait to see the new and improved kick-butt constable corps in full action against the Baddest Baddies that Scotley and I can come up with! :D

6570 gp if you don't take any of the findings. Tau is also offering to make items if you take the XP hit yourself.
