Can Raul get a Monk's Belt made for 6500 GP and 540 xp? It's from DMG p. 248? Even with the xp hit, Raul will still be 6th level. Requires Craft Wonderous Item and Tensor's Transformation.

Well considering that a Tensor's Transformation is a 6th level spell, it's a little bit above my level. A straight wizard can make it at 11th level and we're only 6th. Sorry.

Righteous Might also works, and that's a Cleric L5 spell. How much would a scroll of the spell add to the cost? SRD cost for CL5 is 1125 GP. Transformation is 1950 GP. Let Raul dig through his apartment....

Raul's got about 650 GP above the 6500 GP.

Won't work. I would need a scroll for every day of crafting. It would take 13 days, and 13 scrolls would be more than the belt costs.

You might find someone at the LCA who would be willing to help you with this. Some wizards are more concerned about the xp loss than the gp gain. What's the extra 20 xp for? My calculations came out to 520xp, and I checked and re-checked. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you better check again. This sort of thing would definitely need to be RPed!
 


In case anyone hasn't noticed, the limit has been raised on how many xp you can give out per day. You can now give ten xp / day. Makes it easier to cycle back around to give more to the few folks that one actually plays with.
