Jack is able to tell that his companions have been affected magically in some way, although the means of which he knows not.

Timati turns to the aristocrat and looks him up and down carefully, assessing him for anything worthwhile.

" Oh be quiet you pathetic whiner, you're plight is no worse than ours, if you want to get out of here how about you suggest something? I'm going out that door. Oh my name's Timati for those of you who care."

With that Timati heads out the Door.

In a flash, the single girl in the room is bearing a gun, and looking at those around in with an eye of suspicion.

"Who the hell are all of you?" She asks quickly, the weapon pointed at each of them in turn. "And where the hell are we?"

 

[Rathan]

*Domaskis seeing the gun and thinking "trouble", shreeks and dives out the doorway after timati......*

"Please... please timati.. she's got a gun! Get me Out of this hellhole...... PLEASE!"

The rogue in black suddenly bursts in a chilling laughter.
"I didn't know the master had a sense of humor. Heh, there's no way you're going to believe me, but he messed with your minds , and in a rather amusing way. Probably he's somewhere out there looking at the troubles you'll get into. Oh and sweetheart" he turns to face Tracy "I don't know you, but you have quite an insight. This is not Hell, but it's a fiendish fortress, and we are the servants."

The Rogue in Black
"I didn't know the master had a sense of humor. Heh, there's no way you're going to believe me, but he messed with your minds, and in a rather amusing way. Probably he's somewhere out there looking at the troubles you'll get into."

"You're quite right about that." She says, turning to face the rogue, and her gun now pointing in that direction, as well. "I have little reason to believe your tale."

"Oh and sweetheart ... I don't know you, but you have quite an insight. This is not Hell, but it's a fiendish fortress, and we are the servants."

She takes a quick look around, then returns her gaze to the rogue in black. "Hmm... and you expect me to believe that, as well? I still have no reason to trust you."

 

[Lichtenhart]

"Don't trust me. Ever. You can't afford that. But right now, I have no reason to lie to you."
Jack turns his back to Tracy.
"Oh, and if I were you, I'd put away that thing, sweetheart. Children shouldn't play with weapons, you know. They could get hurt."

OOC: Jack prepares an action to dimension door a hundred feet away, in a dark place, possibly on the ceiling should Tracy react too badly to his words

The Rogue in Black
"Don't trust me. Ever. You can't afford that. But right now, I have no reason to lie to you."

She looks at the rogue for a small moment.

"You have a point." She says quietly.

"Oh, and if I were you, I'd put away that thing, sweetheart. Children shouldn't play with weapons, you know. They could get hurt."

"I am not a child." She says simply. "I suggest you not say that again, or I will have to kill you."

She then sticks her gun into the front of her jeans.

"My name is Tracy Vannieu." She says, surveying those in the room. "I don't know why I am here, or why any of you are here... however, that one," She points at the rogue in black, "has convinced me that I have little choice but to trust you... and so I shall. However, if any of you turn on me... I will not hesitate to shoot you, and I don't miss."

She then turns to regard the rogue in black, once more.

"Now," Tracy says, "you mentioned before that 'the master' has 'messed with our minds'... do you know anything beyond that?"

 

[Lichtenhart]

"Interesting suggestion. I think I'll follow it. For now."
Jack says as he turns to face Tracy again.
"If you need a name, you can call me Jack of Spades. And I do not know who you are, nor what the Master is making you think, but I do know why you, me and everybody else is here. You are here because you sold your soul. Welcome to our own comfortable, little hell."

"Not the helpful sort, are you?" Tracy asks, her voice sarcastic.

"Okay, so we're in hell." She says, then nods. "Alright, I can deal with that... now the question is: how do we get out?"

"And who the hell is the 'Master' that you keep talking about?" Tracy demands.
