Grryth wipes himself clean of the oily residue and blood from their last battle. He scans the area for clues and makes his way over to the rest of the group around the trap door.

[sblock=Lack of posting]
I just wanted to apologize for my lack of regular posts lately. RL has been very busy the last couple of weeks and unfortunately it is the hobbies that suffer. Hopefully I can now keep up and post more frequently.

Garrick moves closer to Alexia and tries to see where Riel jumped down. "Just how deep is this?" he asks, wondering about jumping down himself.

Riel lands safely on the moist earth in the hole, his padded paws making at quiet patting sound as he felt around in the darkness. Without the natural vision traits of his form, Riel is unable to make out any visual details of the area he landed in.

Riel sees a streak of light as the sunrod is flung down towards him. As the clear chemical encasing bounces end over end on the earthen floor, the transformed warlock sees a long cavern passage that seems to extend beyond the distance of the sunrod's light. The walls of the cavern seem to be lightly reinforced with some wooden beams. There seems to have been quite a bit of foot traffic through this cavern, as the foot prints are quite obvious and numerous.

[sblock=Perception 20] Among the many footprints, and especially among one set of fresh prints, are two grooves in the earth that suggest that someone was dragged through this area. The grooves are quite sporadic at first, but seem to become a solid line after a few feet.

[sblock=Perception 25] You can hear faint echoes from deep within the cavern that sounds like metal being dropped on stone.

[sblock=Dungeoneering 15] While the walls of this cavern are reinforced, it is shoddily done. Any major disruption in the area could easily cause the wooden pillars to crack and cause a cave in. [/sblock]
